70's era korg univox sr-120 drum machine driven through gap-pre73 preamp sent through joe meek c2 optical compressor sent through aphex compellor compressor, limiter and aural exiter, recorded via sony pcm-d50. I think the univox is broken because i can't get any other sounds than tom-toms and claves from it.

Studio recordings of handling a small metal mechanical device for foley purposes. Ever get thaat bored you recorded a washing machine? yyuurp!. As an engineer i find this quite interesting. . . Published spin speeds and all that. Also, the zoom is clearly getting some rf interference, most audible around 1:12 to 1:16. The zoom is battery powered. This is a duplicate of the flac upload that appeared to fail but maybe didn't.
